Kathmandu. After the devastating flood that occurred in the Timure area of Rasuwa on August 10, time seems to have stopped for many families. Relatives are out of contact, but the family has not been able to get any sure information whether they are alive or not.
Lakshmi Rai of Balefi-4 of Sindhupalchok is visiting hospitals in Kathmandu with similar uncertainty. She went to the hospital looking for her husband Ang Thong Tamang. Aung Thong used to drive a 'Sino' container truck that transported goods across the border. He was also around the scene on the day of the flood. Since then, his condition is unknown.
"We have searched all over, now the last option is to visit the hospital," says Lakshmi, "We have come to see if we can find any clues." Lakshmi's sentence hides the hope and growing restlessness of a family.

According to Lakshmi, they were a group of 11 container trucks belonging to SINO. As the risk of flooding increased, the drivers of two-three trucks down in the market area were alerted in time and were able to move to a safer place. However, Ang Thong was in a higher area than that. He had neither reached the Chinese border, nor was he in the market area below.
