Nepal’s leading payment service provider, eSewa, has been accredited with the world-class card data security standard ‘PCI DSS Version 4.0.1’. The certification is another reminder of the company’s commitment to the security of transactions and customer data conducted through eSewa.
eSewa achieved the certification after meeting strict standards such as secure network, data security, risk management, and regular monitoring set by the world-renowned ‘PCI Security Standards Council’.
eSewa’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Bipin Khanal, said that this certification has further strengthened the company’s commitment to user trust and data security. He expressed his commitment to improving the system in adherence to international standards in the coming days.
