Sunsari Two people, including a technical officer of Radio Nepal, have died in a road accident in Sunsari. Chandra Bahadur Khadka, Information Officer of District Police Office Sunsari, informed that 55-year-old Prakash Lal Thandar of Gadhi Rural Municipality-2 died when his motorcycle number Ba75P 3110 fell from the bridge at Duhavi Municipality-11 Simrabana on Tuesday evening.
Thandar, who was seriously injured in the accident, was rushed to Virat Teaching Hospital and died during treatment. The deceased was working as a technical officer at Thandar Radio Nepal Tariniprasad Koirala Memorial Communication Village Biratnagar.
Similarly, 55-year-old Rajendra Prasad Ghimire of Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-5 died when a motorcycle and a City Safari collided at Gurans Chowk, Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-8 on Tuesday evening. Ghimire, who was seriously injured in the accident, died yesterday while undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan. Police are investigating both incidents.
