The road has now been opened so that excavators can go to the Audit-2 tunnel of Trishuli-3 'B' hydropower project.
The Nepali Army and the joint rescue team with the project's managing director removed the tunnel obstruction after continuous efforts.
According to the Nepali Army, with the help of three bobcats and a generator, the audit-2 tunnel has been cleaned and made accessible for excavators.
With the opening of the tunnel, the joint team has intensified search and rescue operations. Similarly, the army said that the rescue work is continuing in Trishuli-3 'A' as well.
Meanwhile, the Nepali Army has informed that health services have been provided to 3,297 people so far under the ongoing rescue and relief operations.
