Nuwakot. For flood victims, Maya Mamta Foundation has distributed relief materials to about 300 disaster affected citizens in Vidur Municipality-5 of Nuwakot. The relief was distributed under the leadership of Ayushma Rana, director of the foundation.
When the calamity has disrupted the household and daily life, relief materials have been provided to the affected people with immediate need of food, safe stay, women's health and hygiene as a priority.
Under the campaign, sleeping bags, drinking water, chiura, dal, juice as well as sanitary pads and hygiene materials for women and girls have been distributed, according to the foundation. Director Rana said that during the crisis, not only food was distributed, but the basic needs and sensitivities were also taken into consideration.
The Foundation is committed to continue such humanitarian assistance programs in the future to reassure citizens in disaster that they are not alone and to make their daily lives easier.
