24 August, Kathmandu. News agencies close to Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) claimed a missile attack on American military bases in Jordan.
It is claimed that the Iranian missiles targeted the Prince Hassan military base in eastern Jordan.
Iranian sources have released several video footages related to the first phase of the missile attack on Jordan. In some of these videos, it is mentioned that "Iranian missiles penetrated the air defense system and fell directly on the targets".
On Wednesday morning, the Revolutionary Guard Corps also claimed to have fired ballistic missiles at American warships.
Earlier, Iran fired missiles at a US military base in Jordan. Jordan later said its air defense system shot down 18 of the 20 missiles fired by Iran.
An official spokesman of the Jordanian armed forces said that two missiles fired from Iran towards Jordan fell far away from the residential area. Iran says that these attacks were carried out after the US forces targeted Iranian oil tankers.
