Nuwakot. A Chinese national has been rescued alive from the audit 4 tunnel of the 216 MW Upper Trishuli-1 hydropower project affected by the Rasuwa flood.
The Nepali Army and South Korea's disaster expert team rescued those citizens from inside the tunnel only on Saturday.
Those Chinese citizens who were rescued on the 11th day of the flood are being brought to Mable Barracks in Trishuli, Nuwakot. The project area and the tunnel were affected due to the severe flood that occurred on 10th of August.
Earlier on Friday, 2 people trapped inside the tunnel of Trishuli-3 'A' hydropower project were rescued alive. Sanjay Sah and Kavir Maharjan were rescued alive from inside the tunnel.
With this, the number of people rescued from the tunnel has reached 3.
