Kathmandu. The Ministry of Information and Communication has given the responsibility of the Acting Chairman of the Film Development Board to Joint Secretary Ravilal Sharma to look after the work until the chairman is appointed.
Ministry's information officer Ravindra Paudyal told him that Tuesday's ministerial-level decision assigned the board's responsibility. Sharma has started his duties from Wednesday.
"He has been assigned to work until then without being appointed as the chairman," Poudyal said.
He informed that the appointment process of the chairman of the board will be started soon. The secretary is out. There was some delay due to flood and other reasons. He said that the process of appointing the chairman will soon be started by open competition.
After the term of Dinesh DC ended on August 11, the post of chairman is vacant.
