16 August, Kathmandu. Bagmati Provincial Government, Secretary Meeting has decided to streamline the digital platform to make search, rescue, relief and rehabilitation work details and received data transparent and organized.
The meeting held today under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Kamal Prasad Bhattarai also decided to complete the road construction work from Bhimfedi-Kogte-Ipa Deurali to Sisneri immediately for the alternative arrangement of the narrow route of Bhimfedi-Kulekhani section under Hetaunda-Kathmandu.
The meeting took into account the traffic congestion on the road and decided to streamline the traffic in two sections connecting Hetaunda-Kathmandu, Bhimphedi-Deurali-Kulekhani-Fakhel-Pharping and Bhimphedi-Sisneri-Chaimale-Pharping. It has also been decided to regularly inspect the belay bridge in that section and keep it in working order. In view of the road conditions, the chief secretary has instructed the chief district officers and police officers of this province to coordinate the necessary.
The meeting formed a sub-committee to collect the integrated details of the damage and loss to physical infrastructure and people's wealth due to Bhotekoshi flood.
Such a committee has been formed under the coordination of the Policy and Planning Commission Secretary. The meeting also decided to celebrate this year's Civil Service Day with disaster-focused programs throughout the province.
