The transportation and distribution of LP gas in Kathmandu valley has been affected after the road was blocked due to severe flood in Trishuli river in Krishnabhir area under Prithvi highway.

According to the Nepal LP Gas Industry Association, the cost of gas transportation has increased as the road has been blocked and forced to use alternative routes.

10. Reduced patient admissions

In Biratnagar, the capital of Koshi province, there is a shortage of (human) oxygen used for health purposes. There is a lack of oxygen in the major hospitals here after technical problems occurred in the local oxygen producing industries and the production stopped. Due to lack of easy supply of oxygen, hospitals have started reducing the admission of new patients.

The schedule of Janak Shiksha Material Kendra Limited, which is responsible for printing, has come to a standstill as the school education curriculum format has not been finalized and the Curriculum Development Center has not provided 'Print Ready Copy' (PRC).
