20 August, Kathmandu. CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has said that Nepal should get compensation from those who created the Bhotekoshi flood problem.
In a program organized by the UML Special Organization Committee at the party office Chasal, General Secretary Pokharel emphasized that the Himalayan country of Nepal should receive compensation from the industrialized countries that play an important role in climate change.
Developed countries are increasing carbon emissions from large-scale industries and nuclear reactors, and the environment is changing, and developing countries like Nepal are affected by it. As a result, the Himalayan country of Nepal has been affected and has to bear the loss of huge wealth every year", said General Secretary Pokharel.
He said that the leaders of the party and people's organizations reached the affected areas and worked round the clock, giving priority to rescue and relief distribution.
