24 August, Kathmandu. Two parliamentary committees are meeting today.

According to the Parliament Secretariat, the meeting of the Finance Committee and the Industry, Commerce and Labor and Consumer Welfare Committee will be held today.

In the meeting of the Finance Committee at 9:30 this morning, there is an agenda to discuss with the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority regarding the rescue, relief distribution and rehabilitation done by the government so far after the devastating flood in Bhotekoshi, Rasuwa.

Likewise, there is an agenda to discuss with the Ministry of Finance regarding the impact of the disaster on the economy as a whole and to discuss with the National Planning Commission regarding the post-disaster damage and impact assessment.

In the meeting of Industry and Commerce and Labor and Consumer Welfare Committee, which will be held at 10 am today, there is an agenda to discuss the supply management of daily consumer goods.

The committee has called the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supply and the Secretary of the Ministry for discussion.
