Kathmandu. The armed police have arrested two people with a large quantity of drugs from Lalitpur's Chaisal.

A special team operated by the Intelligence Bureau of Nepal's Armed Police Force seized 17,400 capsules of tramadol during an 'operation' conducted in Lalitpur Metropolitan City-9, Chasal on Monday.

The team has arrested 34-year-old Suren Rai, resident of Sunsari's Dharan Metropolitan City-17 and currently living in Satdobato, and 32-year-old Sujit Deula, currently residing in Shankhamool, Lalitpur Metropolitan City-12. Armed Police Co-Spokesperson Shailaindra Thapa informed that 17,400 tramadol capsules and a scooter were recovered from them. They have been handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
