Kathmandu. In the convention organizing committee meeting of the outgoing chairman of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba group, a proposal to form 4 committees focusing on the convention has been submitted.
It has been proposed to form four important committees for the preparation of the convention by the 18th of August namely the Central Election Committee, Active Member Investigation and Management Committee, Statute Amendment Committee and Disciplinary Committee. Similarly, it is mentioned in the working paper that ad hoc committees of fraternal organizations such as Mahila Sangh, Navy Sangh, Tarun Dal etc. will be formed.
A proposal to appoint central representatives in all 77 districts for the preparation of the convention was also submitted in the meeting. The agenda is that the representatives should reach the district by August 20th and the district convention preparation committee should be formed by August 25th. A deadline of October 9 has been set to resolve disputes related to active membership.
