Kathmandu. The drama of the same name based on the Madan award winning novel 'Seto Dharti' will now be staged in Talnagari Pokhara. Earlier, this play has been staged for 101 shows at Kantipur Theater in Kathmandu.
Recently, this play has been staged in the eastern city of Biratnagar. The attendance of the audience was packed in all the performances held at Arohan Gurukul located in Biratnagar.
Koshi Chief Minister Hikmat Karki also went to watch the play as a special guest. 1 lakh 1 thousand rupees collected from the stage organized there has been deposited in the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund for the Bhotekoshi flood victims.
After Kathmandu and Biratnagar, this play is going to be staged on August 26, 27, 28 and 29 at Pokhara Theater in Gairpatan. The play will be performed in Pokhara only for 4 days. Prakash Puri, the head of Kantipur theater, said that it was going to be staged there after the audience of Pokhara asked to bring it to Pokhara while it was being staged in Kathmandu.
In Pokhara, the first show will be held on August 26 at 5 pm, while three shows will be staged on August 27, 28 and 29 at 11 am, 2 pm and 5 pm daily. Author Amar Neupane will also participate in the Pokhara staging.
After the staging, literature brainstorming, book signing and an interactive session with Pokhareli audience will be held in every show. This play is directed by Sundar Dhital.
