Dhangadhi. Nazir Mian, the provincial head of Sudurpaschim Province, has announced that he will provide one month's salary for the relief and rehabilitation of the citizens affected by the devastating floods in Bhotekoshi river in Rasuwa.

In a statement issued by Chief Private Secretary of the Provincial Chief Minister Sabir Ali on Wednesday, he expressed deep sorrow over the loss of life and property caused by the floods that occurred in the Bhotekoshi River and its lower coastal areas on August 10. Paying homage to all the people who died in the flood, it is hoped that the missing and missing people will be found safely.

In the statement, it is wished for the speedy recovery of the injured and that the people, families and communities directly and indirectly affected by the disaster get the strength to face the far-reaching effects of this disaster.

Provincial Chief Mian has thanked all the national servants and ordinary citizens including all the government, political parties, teams from various friendly countries, social organizations, private sector, security agencies, who are continuously working in the work of rescue, relief and rehabilitation.

He called upon everyone for more support during the calamity and announced that he would provide one month's salary to the Prime Minister's Divine Disaster Relief Fund for the relief and rehabilitation of the flood victims.

The Sudurpaschim Province government has also decided to provide two crore rupees to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund for the relief and rehabilitation of the Bhotekoshi flood victims.
