Newly appointed Industry, Commerce and Supply Minister Deepak Kumar Sah has expressed his commitment to solve the problem of LP gas for cooking in the market after assuming office.
After taking the oath of office and secrecy at Rashtrapati Bhavan Sheetal Niwas, Minister Shah said that meeting the basic needs of the consumers is the main responsibility of the government while reaching the ministry at Singhdarbar and assuming office.
"People should be provided as much gas as they need," he said while talking to the media, "we will take necessary steps immediately after discussing this with the relevant parties."
Minister Shah said that he will proceed in consultation with the outgoing Industry Minister Gauri Kumari to facilitate gas supply. "Before starting any work, one can get the right results only if one proceeds with information about what was happening in the past," he said.
The then Minister Gauri Kumari had resigned from the post today after a controversy arose over the issue of cooking gas. After that, Prime Minister Balendra Shah appointed MP Shah as the Industry Minister.
