25 August, Kathmandu. Three parliamentary committees are meeting today.
According to the Parliament Secretariat, a meeting of the Committee on Industry, Commerce and Labor and Consumer Affairs, the Committee on Law, Justice and Human Rights and the Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources is about to be held.
There is an agenda to discuss various aspects including the formation of sub-committee of Industry and Commerce and Labor and Consumer Welfare Committee which will meet at 10 o'clock on Thursday.
Similarly, in the meeting of the Law, Justice and Human Officer Committee at 9 am, there is an agenda to discuss the current situation, challenges and future action plans of the decision implementation with the decision implementation directorate. The committee has called the law minister, the secretary of the ministry and the director general for the discussion.
Likewise, in the meeting of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee at 9:30 in the morning, there is an agenda to discuss the impact of climate-related disasters on agriculture and natural resources and the initiatives that Nepal should adopt for climate adaptation and climate justice. The committee has called the Minister of Agriculture, the Secretary of the Ministry and related environmental experts for the discussion.
