Liverpool defeated Ipswich Town 2-0 in the English Premier League. Swedish striker Alexander Isak scored both goals to give Liverpool their first win at Portman Road last night.

After Isak scored two consecutive goals in the sixth and ninth minutes of the game, Liverpool had a strong hold at the beginning. Cody Gakpo played an important role in both goals.

In the first goal, Gakpo's pass was scored by Isak with a powerful shot from inside the penalty area. Three minutes later, Gakpo scored the second goal with a great pass from the outside leg by Isak, tricking the defender.

In the second half, Liverpool controlled the game and did not even give Ipswich a chance to score. Coach Andoni Iraola introduced the club's record signing Bradley Barkola to the field in the 64th minute.

It was Iraola's first win as Liverpool manager. He replaced Arne Sloat. Slott was sacked by the club after Liverpool's title defense campaign fell apart the previous season.

Liverpool won this victory after drawing two matches at the beginning of the season. Isaac said that the team started playing according to their plan and could score more goals.

Similarly, seven matches are being played tonight in the Premier League. The match will start with a match between Newcastle United and Bournemouth. Then there will be matches between Brentford and Sunderland, Brighton and Leeds United, Fulham and Crystal Palace, Manchester City and Coventry City and Nottingham Forest and Tottenham. Hull City and Aston Villa face each other in the final match of the day.
