Kathmandu. In the UEFA Champions League match on Wednesday, Borussia Dortmund won a thrilling 3-2 victory over Villarreal.
All the goals were scored in the second half in the match that ended in a goalless draw in the first half. In the 53rd minute of the game, Dortmund took an early lead of 1-0 through Villarreal's Renato Veiga's own goal. Then, in the 66th minute, Santiago Mourinho scored and brought Villarreal to a 1-1 draw.
Towards the end of the game, Dortmund's Serhou Guirasi gave an excellent performance. He scored a goal in the 80th minute to give Dortmund a 2-1 lead, and in the 85th minute scored a personal second goal to increase the team's lead to 3-1.
The match was tied 3-2 when Dortmund's Guirasi scored an own goal in the injury time after the scheduled time. However, since no more goals were scored, Dortmund won a thrilling 3-2.
With this win, Dortmund has risen to the fourth place in the table, while the defeated Villarreal has been limited to the 31st place.
