22 August, Nuwakot. Vidur Municipality of Nuwakot will immediately provide Rs 10,000 per family as house rent to the citizens who were displaced by the devastating flood that occurred in the Trishuli River through Rasuwa's Bhotekoshi.

The 134th meeting of the Vidur Municipal Corporation held on Sunday decided to provide that amount to the residents of the city who do not have habitable houses due to the floods and rent houses.

In addition, the municipality will also distribute relief materials such as food, clothes, kitchen sets and hygiene sets to the affected families.

Taking advantage of the calamity, the municipality has also warned against the risk that the landlord may increase the rent.

The municipality has made it clear that if anyone is found to be charging a higher rental rate than the current and customary while renting a room or house, strict action will be taken according to the law.
