25 August, Hetaunda. The Bagmati state government has approved the new salary scale for the national service employees working under the state.
The Council of Ministers meeting held on Thursday decided to adjust the salaries of the employees of the provinces automatically in accordance with the new salary structure revised by the federal government.
Similarly, the state government has decided to separate the two important technical offices of Makwanpur, which were merged in the past in the name of administrative restructuring.
The meeting decided to operate the Goat Development Center (Chitlang) and the Fisheries Development Center (Kulekhani) as separate offices in the previous state, concluding that there was a complication in the performance due to the mismatch of working nature.
According to the spokesperson of the state government and Minister of Physical Infrastructure Development, Bharat Bahadur KC, earlier these two centers were merged according to the policy of reducing the number of offices and cutting expenses.
However, he pointed out that since the nature of the goat rearing research and promotion agency and the agency focused on fish farming expansion are completely different, they were separated again when they were placed under one administrative umbrella when managerial problems were observed.
'O&M' in final stage
Spokesperson KC has informed that the state government has currently accelerated the work of Organization and Management Survey (O&M).
He said that in the past, there were many examples of mergers of offices that did not have thematic coordination in a bid to reduce the administrative number, so now the positions, structure and responsibilities are to be reviewed. He said that as the O&M homework has reached its final stage, more proposals will be made in the upcoming cabinet meeting.
Likewise, the Cabinet meeting has also approved the necessary temporary posts with salary for the temporary employees working in various agencies of the province on the proposal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Law and Cooperatives.
In addition, the provincial government has also decided to form a study task force to make the issue of incentive allowances received by temporary and contractual employees systematic and equitable.
