Baglung Kalika Bhagwati Temple has helped the Bhotekoshi flood victims with the amount of 555,000 donations collected.
Chairman of the committee Ram Bahadur Khadka informed that the meeting held today of the Kalika Bhagwati Guthi Management Committee decided to support the rescue and relief of the Bhotekoshi flood victims with the money collected from the donation of the temple.
He said that according to the decision to support the Prime Minister's Divine Disaster Relief Fund from the amount of offerings collected in the temple for the rescue and relief of the flood victims, the funds will be deposited in the fund.
Kalika Bhagwati Temple is one of the famous Shaktipeeths of Gandaki region. Annually, one million devotees visit the temple and crores of offerings are collected.
Established in the year 1591, special pooja is held in this temple on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
