Kathmandu. Saroj Neupane's upcoming plot film with actor Arun Chhetri in the lead role is titled 'Feri Vetounla'.
Neupane announced the untitled film last week when Chhetri's latest film 'Gounthali' was a hit at the box office. Now the title of this film has been released.
Chhetri will play the leading role in the film which is being made in the romantic comedy genre. According to producer Neupane, the possibility of Aanchal Sharma as the female lead is almost certain. Neupane informed that a verbal agreement has been reached with actress Sharma and a written agreement is pending.
Ramesh Gajurel is writing the screenplay of this film. After finishing the script writing, Neupane informed that the work is going on for the shooting right after Tihar. The demonstration is targeted for the month of Baisakh 2084.
Two top actresses are yet to be decided for this film. According to the producer, the budget will reach more than 4 crore rupees. However, the director of this film has not been finalized.
The director of each of my films is decided later. I decide the direction only after finalizing the script," Neupane said. However, he says that there is no possibility of the old director returning.
The producer Neupane has previously produced Talal, Gangster, Blues, Jerry on Top. Interestingly, the film 'Pheri Vetaunla' was also produced in 1990, which is also the debut film of the now famous actress Manisha Koirala.
