Kathmandu. The government has decided to cancel all the scheduled programs of the 23rd Civil Service Day to be celebrated this year. The decision was taken at a meeting held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary, Civil Service Day Main Ceremony Committee.

The entire state is in a state of mourning due to the severe flood that occurred on the morning of August 10th in the Rasuwagadhi area of ​​the Nepal-China border. Rashtrasevak employees and security personnel are continuously engaged in disaster management work including search, rescue, relief.

Keeping this situation in mind, according to the decision of August 5th, the entire program of the 23rd Civil Service Day, which was to be celebrated on August 22nd, has been cancelled.

The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, has decided to deposit the allocated budget for the celebration of the day into the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund.
