21 August, Kathmandu. The police have arrested a young man who "badly touched" a girl who was walking on the footpath in Thamel.
Police said that the arrested person is Salim Sah, 30 years old, who lives in Kavilasi Municipality-2 of Sarlahi and currently lives in Kathmandu. It is said that he was arrested by the team of Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office from Kalanki on Saturday night.
A few days ago, a video of the young man touching a girl who was walking on the footpath of Thamel went viral on social media.
The police said that the video was recorded on August 16 at 8 pm.
Based on the same video, while searching for the person involved, it was revealed that the person who was arrested was Saha.
SP Dan Bahadur Thapa informed that District Police Complex, Kathmandu is investigating him for the crime of indecent behavior.
