Dhangadhi. A teenager has gone missing after being washed away by a river in Jagannath Rural Municipality of Bajura.
Anuj Singh, the 17-year-old son of Birj Singh of Jagannath Rural Municipality-3, went to graze goats and went missing while crossing the Kalsinge river.
He was swept away by the river while crossing the river around 1 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon. Local Khadak Bhandari informed about the incident at Juddi police station at 5:50 pm.
As soon as the information was received, a team of three people under the command of Police Assistant Inspector Ramesh Bahadur Rawal from Police Station Juddi was dispatched to the scene of the incident to search and rescue the missing juvenile.
The place of incident is about four hours' walk west from the police station Juddi. According to the police, the search for the teenager is ongoing.
