Kathmandu. Nepal Sports Journalists Forum has entered into a sponsorship agreement with Siddharth Bank Limited as the banking partner of NSJF Pulsar Sports Award 2082.
The 23rd edition of the NSJF Pulsar Sports Awards is being held tomorrow, Thursday, August 18, at the Blue Pavilion Hall of the Nepal Police Club at Bhrikutimand in the capital. A letter of agreement has been exchanged between Niranjan Adhikari, Chairman of the Forum and Sureshraj Maharjan, Assistant Chief Executive Officer of Siddharth Bank. Siddharth Bank, which is connected as a banking partner, has been focusing on the overall development of sports, identifying talent, creating opportunities and building a competitive environment, not just limited to formal sponsorship.
The bank is of the opinion that sports play an important role in developing the talent and potential of the youth as well as highlighting the nation's identity and pride at the national and international level. Manch is an umbrella organization of Nepali sports journalists. In the 'NSJF Pulsar Sports Award', which is the most important event in the Nepali sports sector, players, coaches and sports personnel will be honored and awarded. NSJF Pulsar Sports Awards 2082 will be awarded in 9 categories. It has the best sportsman of the year, male, female, youth, coach, people's choice award, lifetime achievement award, special award, para athlete and Asian sports journalist award.
The nominations for five categories, including the People's Choice, have been announced. Pooja Rana of football, Rabindra Dhant of mixed martial arts (MMA), Sher Mall of cricket, Meena Sunar of volleyball and Sanumaya Thing of karate are competing in the People's Choice nomination. For the nominated players, voting can be done through Digital Wallet Kalti by IME, NSJF Pulsar Sports Awards and Pulsar Nepal's Facebook page only till Wednesday night.
